Argo is an exhibit design, fabrication and installation company servicing museums, galleries, artists and collectors since 2007. Combined, argo’s founders Neil Borowicz and Jes Gettler have been working in the arts for over 20 years. Whether working with irreplaceable artifacts or complex contemporary art installations, argo is known for its high standard of quality and dependability.
Exhibit Design—From small-scale exhibits to large-scale permanent exhibitions, argo offers design services in the form of consultations, project management and detailed design renderings in CAD.
Fabrication—Argo offers design and/or fabrication for interior structures, display walls, custom object mounts in brass, steel, fabric and acrylic, pedestals, case furniture, crates and custom requests.
Installation—Argo offers installation services for art and artifacts ranging from small gallery spaces to entire museum installations. From full scale project management to single day installation assistance, argo's services include packing, crating, installation, lighting, graphics, photographic documentation, condition reports and object catalogs.
Neil received his BFA in printmaking from the Hartford Art School and his MFA in printmaking from Arizona State University. Neil worked as the Exhibit Designer for the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art for eight years, and as the Preparator at the Heard Museum and the Lisa Sette Gallery.
Jes received her BFA in Sculpture from Arizona State University in 2004.
She worked as the Head Preparator at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, the Co-Director of the Paulina Miller Gallery, Project Manager for artist Jean Shin, Installation Assistant for artist Petah Coyne and was part of the curatorial installation team at the Heard Museum for the permanent exhibit ‘Home.’
